How to use Rubber Tact Switches - Just like real controllers!
Read through the instructions carefully before attempting. Also read the disclaimer.
Tired of those clicky, tiring to use tact switches? I found a type of tact switch that uses a rubber dome much like normal controllers. Problem is you can't glue button tops on them and they are a bit problematic when used with as a D-Pad.

To use them you are going to have to pick up some Foam Tape at a hardware store. It comes in a package like this. It has a sticky side and a non stick side.

Also you will need some metal from a soda can for the "base" of the button. Flatten the metal out and hotglue the button top on the metal. Then stick a small square of foam to the metal with hotglue. Leave the stick side up. The following pictures should make this self explanatory.

Now the trick to the D-Pad is that in the exact center of the tacts on the pcb is to drill a small hole and insert a screw. When you tighten this screw it push up on the metal on the D-Pad. This keeps the D-Pad from rolling and makes it act like how a normal D-Pad should.
Hope this clears up any confusion on how to use these guys.
