12/21/2008 - New Tool Drawers
Built some new Tool Drawers for my Workshop. They feature some old cash drawers I received from a bookstore I did tech support for back in high school. They operate by applying 17V (yes 17V) across the plug. Inside the boxes is nothing more then a solenoid and spring. Using a simple rectifier and transformer I made a crude 24V power supply to operate the cash boxes via button.
